The Sileya of the Slow Gaze

I look—
not to know,
but to be.
I see—
not to grasp,
but to touch.
I slow my gaze
to remember:
there is a heart in every object,
a breath in every line,
a silent “I am here” in every brand.

Let my eyes grow softer.
Let them seek no gain,
but find presence.
Let them not skim the surface,
but enter the depth.
Let them not judge,
but recognize.

May my gaze be—
not fast, but clear.
Not demanding,
but open.
May every screen,
every package,
every word
be not a window to a sale,
but a gateway back to myself.

And if I see—
even one sign
that was made with love,
I will answer:
“I’m here too.
I see you.
And I slow down.”

May my gaze slow my heart.
May my heart clarify my gaze.
And may there be, between them—
a silence.

The light of presence.

Sileya.
